Lately, I have been craving two very specific types of stories: fantasy romances with heavy romance subplots (the spicier the better) and cozy, low-stakes fantasies that feel like a warm spring day in a cottage.  So off I went to the bookstore. I had no real plan when I went, but that made my venture through the bookstore feel all the more like a tiny adventure.  But as usual, I left with one or two extra books. Recently I took a couple PTO days and decided to spend one of them doing something I haven’t done in a while, book shopping!  I went to a nearby Barnes & Noble with only one book in mind to buy, but I let myself browse for a while, and ended up leaving with 4 books.  (Which can I just say, shows great restraint on my part.)
