My December Reading Wrap Up
December was a month spent preparing for the holidays and gearing up for the end of the Harry Potter series. I managed to squeeze in two other stories, but reading the last two Harry Potter books took up the majority of my time. Which, if you have read the books, can understand why. They’re hefty novels. My November Reading Recap
November was a much slower month for me in terms of reading. As I finished “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” by J.K. Rowling towards the end of October, I found myself wanting to slow down. As the Halloween festivities turn into prepping for Thanksgiving, I find myself content with the amount of reading I did in October. I mainly started reading through the Harry Potter series but am looking forward to branching out on my to be read books list for November. September Reading Recap + October’s Books To Be Read
September brought about a new feeling of excitement toward reading. Perhaps the weather suddenly cooling off helped in that regard. I’ve begun to notice that inspiration strikes me in waves. I also find that when I am consuming less, in terms of social media, I feel much more open to creating. August was a bit of a slow month for me in regard to reading. I think part of the problem was that I came out of the gate strong after graduation back in May. Personally, I am relieved July is over. Another month has come and gone and I’m really enjoying taking a moment to reflect on the previous month while also gearing up for the month ahead.
